PicklePlay Round Robin Tournament Formats:
Players sign up and pay (if applicable) as teams with a team name. Typically players put their last names as the team name or also can make up a fun name to display.
Pool play every team plays every other team in their pool, PicklePlay will keep track of total wins, total points, and total point differential and seed players to determine single elimination bracket placement.
Team # must match the # in settings before “Start Event” will show up for admins to start the event. Once event has started, it cannot be un-started so ensure all your teams are in and ready to play BEFORE clicking “Start Event”

Top 4 advance to single elimination bracket (4 team bracket)
6 Teams:
1 Pool
Top 4 advance to single elimination bracket (4 team bracket)

Top 4 advance to single elimination bracket (4 team bracket)
8 Teams:
1 Pool
All 8 advance to single elimination bracket (8team bracket)
9 Teams:
1 Pool
Top 8 advance to single elimination bracket (8 team bracket)
10 Teams:
2 Pools of 5 teams
Top 4 in each pool advance to single elimination bracket (8 team bracket)
11 Teams:
2 Pools (A: 5 teams & B: 6 teams)
Top 4 in each pool advance to single elimination bracket (8 team bracket)
12 Teams:
2 Pools of 6 teams
All 12 advance to single elimination bracket, top 2 teams in each pool get byes the first round (12 team bracket)
13 Teams:
2 Pools (A: 6 teams & B: 7 teams)
Top 4 in each pool advance to single elimination bracket (12 team bracket with the top 2 in each pool receiving a bye the first round)
14 Teams:
2 Pools of 7 teams
Top 6 teams in each pool advance to single elimination bracket (12 teams on bracket with the top 2 in each pool receiving a bye the first round)
15 Teams:
3 Pools of 5 teams
Seeds/ranks pool play overall performance for all 15 teams, not per pool
Top 12 teams overall advance to single elimination bracket with the top 4 teams receiving a bye the first round (12 team bracket)
16 Teams:
4 Pools of 4 teams
Each pool seeds/ranks players per pool
All 16 teams advance to single elimination bracket
17 Teams:
3 Pools (A: 5 teams, B: 6 teams, C: 6 teams)
Seeds/ranks pool play overall performance for all 17 teams, not per pool
Top 16 teams advance to bracket, bottom overall team does not advance
18 Teams:
3 Pools (A: 6 teams, B: 6 teams, C: 6 teams)
Seeds/ranks pool play overall performance for all 18 teams, not per pool
Top 16 teams advance to bracket, bottom 2 overall teams do not advance
19 Teams:
3 Pools (A: 6 teams, B: 6 teams, C: 7 teams)
Seeds/ranks pool play overall performance for all 19 teams, not per pool
